The exhibition "Beyond Duty" was officially opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel on 5 February 2018. The exhibition is dedicated to the Diplomats-Righteous Among the Nations, who helped saving the Jews in Europe before and during the WWII, while disrespecting the instructions from their governments.
With a special ceremony, in presence of the Prime Minister of the State of Israel and the representative of the Saved Families Nina Admoni, a special Tribute Site was revealed at the main entrance to the Ministry, with the names of all 36 diplomats from 21 countries.
The audience was addressed by Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, Chairman of Memorial Centre Yad Vashem Avner Shalev and Representative of the Saved Families, on behalf of all those saved from death by the diplomats, Nina Admoni.
PM Netanyahu emphasised in his speech the importance of acts of 36 diplomats, as well as the deep gratitude of the Jewish people for them, and announced the Israeli cooperation on the truth about Holocaust with all the countries-partners throughout the world, in order to educate the future generations on Holocaust.
The event was attended by Tina Krce, Chargee d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to the State of Israel.
